Official Jefferson County criminal-record questions must go to the office that keeps the source file. The contacts below route court records to the clerks at the courthouse in Fairbury and local law-enforcement material to the sheriff at the Law Enforcement Center. Jefferson County Criminal History is privately operated and does not receive, retrieve, or amend government records.

This Is Not a Government Office. Jefferson County Criminal History is a private reference resource. It cannot retrieve or correct records, provide an official background check, or accept a set-aside or sealing filing. The responsible government custodian must handle each request.
