1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference website with no government connection. It does not hold official criminal records, retrieve files, perform official checks, or submit documents for a visitor.

Its content identifies custodians such as the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office, County Court clerk, District Court clerk, Nebraska State Patrol Criminal Identification Division, and Nebraska Sex Offender Registry. Some pages also provide access to outside search tools that may assist personal research.

2. Rules for Using This Site

Each user agrees not to:

• Use automated bots or scrapers against the pages
• Interfere with performance or prevent another visitor's access
• Attempt unauthorized entry into any connected system

Jefferson County Criminal History is not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. It produces no credit report, consumer report, or background check. Its advertising partners likewise do not offer linked tools for regulated screening. A user may not rely on information from this site or a linked service to:

• Set an insurance premium or judge creditworthiness
• Evaluate a renter or housing applicant
• Make an employment or termination decision
• Decide eligibility for a license, permit, or government program
• Carry out any other purpose regulated by the FCRA

A person needing a legally authorized check must use the appropriate Nebraska State Patrol process or a provider that complies with all applicable consumer-reporting law.
